Indices Witness Smart Up move

After getting a gap up start, the Indian equity benchmark Nifty slowly but steadily started gathering steam and surged by around one percent by early afternoon trades.The key index further capitalized on the momentum and spurted in afternoon trades on the back of broad based bottom fishing in under valued stocks.The northbound journey concluded with the close of the session helping the key index in recovering Nifty finished the session near its intra-day high at 7948.95 levels.

The advance-decline ratio ended on positive side today. On the NSE Index, 42 stocks closed in green, while 8 stocks ended the in red.

Top 5 Nifty Gainers: HDFC was top gainer, up by 8.66%, followed by CAIRN,VEDL,NMDC,AMBUJACEM.

Top 5 Nifty Losers: BHEL was the top loser, down by -3.27%, followed by BAJAJ-AUTO,TCS,WIPRO & HEROMOTOCO.

In today’s trading session all sector were closed with green mark & CNX REALTY was top gainer, gain with 4.15%.

The Asian markets were closed with green mark; China's Shanghai Composite was up by +156.30 points, while Hong Kong's Hang-Seng moved up by+747.22 point, and Japan's Nikkei was up by 197.61 point.

Buzzers: Most of the heavy weights actively traded contracts on the basis of the highest volume traded in today’s trading session like SBI, TATA STEEL, RIL, INFOSYS, TATAMOTORS & INFY.
