Software giant on a roll: posts awesome Q2FY17 numbers
HCL Technologies has declared its Q2FY17 results on Friday. The share price of the company will rock on Dalal Street in entire Friday session.
The company’s revenue has increased by 14.1 per cent to Rs 11519 crore in Q2FY17 as compared to same period in previous financial year. Its EBIT too has risen by 18.4 per cent to Rs 2318 crore in Q2FY17 on a yearly basis. HCL Technologies’ EBIT margin has expanded by 100 basis points to 20.5 per cent in Q2FY17 as compared to same period in previous fiscal. The company’s net profit has increased by 15.95 per cent to Rs 2016 crore in Q2FY17 on a yearly basis.
HCL Technologies has 443 clients in Q2FY17. The company’s revenue in Americas and Europe has grown by 14.9 per cent and 8.2 per cent respectively. The growth in these geographic segments is driven by Infrastructure Services at 21.4 per cent, Engineering and R&D Services at 5.7 per cent, Application Services at 4.7 per cent, and Business Services at 2.5 per cent.
Vertical growth is led by Public Services at 25 per cent; Retail & CPG at 21.6 per cent; Lifesciences & Healthcare at 15.9 per cent; Telecommunications, Media, Publishing & Entertainment at 14.9 per cent; Manufacturing at 7.1 per cent; and Financial Services at 5.3 per cent in Q2FY17.
