Budget 2017: Education sector hogs limelight
To boost the country's education sector. the FM announced slew of measures to enhance the ailing higher education scenario in the country.
National Testing Agency to conduct all examinations in higher education, freeing CBSE and other agencies of the troublesome burden.
Government will set up innovation fund for secondary education. Government will also propose to leverage ICT with the launch of "Swayam" platform which has 350 free courses.
