JSW Group now explores options in aviation sector
JSW Group, an Indian conglomerate and part of the OP Jindal Group, is now exploring options in the aviation industry by improving flight connectivity for small towns and villages.
It has been reliably learnt that JSW Group having businesses in metals and also power generation, has offered bids to enter the civil aviation market.
Meanwhile, the JSW Group also plans to venture into electric cars by 2020 with an expectation that the government will promote such vehicles and falling battery prices will make them more affordable.
In the light of this, shares of JSW Steel extended gains to as much as 1.6 percent on Monday. However, during the market closing hours, the shares of JSW Steel was trading at 185.15 levels, down by 1.30 or 0.70 per cent.
