RIL, DLF, HDFC Bank three most active stocks of day
Sensex and Nifty traded in a positive territory initially on Friday but later slipped to red zone thereafter.
ITC, ICICI Bank and Sun Pharma were the biggest contributors to the Sensex losses today. There were 821 advances, 851 declines and 284 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly negative bias floating in the market.
Reliance Industries Limited witnessed upward movement in the morning hours with huge volumes. The stock was the most active stock of the day and also responsible for the morning gains of the major indices in the market.
