Q4FY17 Results: Container Corporation
Container Corporation reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017, on Thursday.
Total sales for this quarter, Q4FY17, came in at Rs. 1557.9 crores. This represents a 17.1 per cent sequential increase and 2.3 per cent YoY decline.
Operating profit (EBIT) for the recently concluded quarter amounted to Rs. 407.3 crore and the EBIT margin stood at 26.1 per cent.
It reported PAT of Rs. 335.7 crore which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 80.5 per cent and a YoY increase of 9.6 per cent.
The board has declared a final dividend of Rs. 7.5 per equity share for the face value of Rs. 10 each.
Today, the stock opened at Rs. 1179 and touched its intra-day high of Rs. 1216.25 on the BSE.
The Company is engaged in the operation of logistics facilities, including dry ports, container freight stations and private freight terminals. Its divisions are EXIM and Domestic.
