Century Ply board’s Subsidiary, Century Ply (Singapore) Pte. Ltd Buys 49% Stake in Wood Factory

Century Ply (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Century Plyboards, has acquired 49% stake in Huesoulin Wood Processing Factory Co. Ltd., the company informed the bourses on Thursday. The stake buys makes Huesoulin an associate company. 

Century Plyboards (India) Limited is a plywood manufacturer. The company's segments include plywood, laminate, CFS services. The company's geographical segments are demarcated into India and overseas.

Huesoulin Wood Processing Factory Co. Ltd. is engaged in manufacturing and trading in plywood, veneer & all wood products and providing related services.
 
Century Plyboards on the NSE is clocking gains of 2% and is trading at Rs 314 per share at 0950 hours. The stock has delivered 56% returns in a period of one year and has outperformed the BSE Mid cap and BSE FMCG indices over the same time span.
