Quarterly results: Persistent Systems

Persistent Systems Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2017 today.

The company's total sales for Q1FY18 came in at Rs 728 crore, which represents a 0.12 per cent sequential increase and 3.75 per cent YoY increase.

Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter amounted to Rs 65.22 crore and its EBIT margin stood at 8.96 per cent.

The company reported PAT of Rs 75 crore, which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 3.16 per cent and a YoY increase of 2.46 per cent.

The company acquired PARX, a salesforce certified platinum partner in Europe. This marks a continuing global expansion for Persistent Systems, which includes the recent openings of development centres in Mexico, Israel and new locations in the U.S.
