LIC increases its stake in Nestle India
Life Insurance Corporation has bought 40,000 shares of Nestle India in an open market purchase on August 21, 2017.
This has added 0.41% stake to its existing stake of 4.97% in Nestle India.
According to a BSE filing, LIC was earlier holding 4.7 lakh shares in Nestle India that has now increased to 5.1 lakhs.
Nestle India is a FMCG major involved in manufacturing of milk food, chocolates, prepared dishes and beverages.
In today’s trade the stock opened at Rs 6,670 and touched a high and low of Rs 6,690 and Rs 6,641, respectively. At 1045 hours the stock was quoting at Rs 6,648 per share.
