Indices Directionless
The Indian markets trades on a volatile note this morning. As a result the Nifty is hovering in the same range by 10 points at 6215 and Sensex gain is trading at 20920 with marginal gains of 27 points.
The advance-decline ratio is in the green zone so far. On the NSE, 1791 shares are trading in gains and 1300 shares are down.
Top Nifty Gainers: IDFC is the top gainer so far, up by 2.3%, followed by HCL Tech, Axis Bank, Coal India and Tata Power.
Top Nifty Losers: HDFC is the top loser so far, down by 1.5%, followed by Hero MotoCorp, ACC, DLF and NMDC.
Most of the sectoral indices are trading in green in the opening session. Bankex has moved up by 107 points, Metal and IT are trading up by 66 points and 53 points higher respectively. Both Mid-Caps and Small-Caps are up by around 50 points each.
The Asian markets are trading on a positive note in the morning session. Hang Seng market is the top gainer up by 237 points, followed by Taiwan Market which is up by 66 points. However Nikkei is showing nominal down trade by 34 points.
Buzzers: Axis Bank one of the biggest banking stock trading higher by 2.1%, and it made a new intraday high at Rs 1202. It has broken all the major hurdles and may see levels above Rs 1215 till closing today.
If Nifty Futures sustain above 6240 level, we may see more positive move.
