The Indian markets ended with heavy losses as nifty slipped below 8100 mark. The bear ruled the day as panic selling was seen in global peers and worrying macro-economic data added to the wound. Technically, index is trading near its important support as defined by 100-day EMA and upward rising trend line. On downside 8035 and 8000 would act as a crucial support level for index. On upside 8130-8180 would act as stiff resistance.  

Jagran Prakashan (BSE Code: 532705) which publishes 12 newspapers including its flagship brand Dainik Jagran, is set to enter the radio space with the acquisition of Media Broadcast Private Limited (MBPL)'s Radio City 91.1 FM. Acquisition of Radio City further consolidates the company position as India's leading media and communications group. The radio business will complement its print, outdoor, activation and digital businesses and enable deeper inroads with advertisers both at national and local levels.

Emami (BSE Code: 531162) has enetered into a partnership with German homoeopathic firm Hevert-Arzneimittel for manufacturing and marketing of select Hevert formulations in India. Hevert-Arzneimittel products will be available in 400 homoeopathy medicine retail outlets across diverse distribution channels.

Germany based private equity firm Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG) has agreed to invest in the management buyout of German industrial business firm Pfaudler Process Solutions Group, which operates in India through GMM Pfaudler (BSE Code: 505255), as per a stock market disclosure.
