Vedanta Limited (VEDL) closed at USD 14.87 per share, down by USD 0.04 per share or 0.27 per cent.
Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (RDY) closed at USD 45.09 per share, up by USD 0.16 per share or 0.36 per cent.
WNS (Holdings) Limited (WNS) closed at USD 29.07 per share, up by USD 0.51 per share or 1.79 per cent.
HDFC Bank Limited (HDB) closed at USD 71.08 per share, down by USD 0.46 per share or 0.64 per cent.
MakeMyTrip Limited (MMYT) closed at USD 34.45 per share, up by USD 0.45 per share or 1.32 per cent.
Sify Technologies Limited (SIFY) closed at USD 0.9 per share, up by USD 0.0024 per share or 0.27 per cent.
ICICI Bank Limited (IBN) closed at USD 8.57 per share, up by USD 0.09 per share or 1.06 per cent.
Infosys Limited (INFY) closed at USD 14.57 per share, up by USD 0.46 per share or 3.26 per cent.
Tata Motors Ltd (TTM) closed at USD 38.04 per share, down by USD 0.09 per share or 0.24 per cent.
The US market on Thursday ended higher as the US President, Donald Trump would be making announcements on taxes in the next 2-3 weeks, and there are expectations of positive reforms. The US equities have risen after Donald Trump's victory as investors expect corporate tax cuts, deregulation and government spending to be apt under the Trump administration.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up by 118 points, whereas the S&P 500 and Nasdaq ended gaining 0.58 points and 32.73 points respectively. Nasdaq composite also hit its fresh all time high.
