Shares of Raymond Limited gained 2 per cent on Tuesday after the company’s board approved to consolidate the company’s tools and hardware business into the engineering business to improve synergies and explore monetisation options for deleveraging the firm. 

On Friday, Zydus Cadila’s US subsidiary, Zydus Pharmaceuticals (USA), received final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market Apremilast Tablets in the strengths of 10 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg.

One of the largest players in the Indian power sector, Torrent Power Limited entered into a share purchase agreement for the acquisition of 100 per cent of the share capital of Surya Vidyut Limited (the SPV), a wholly-owned subsidiary of CESC Limited. The enterprise value estimated for this acquisition is about Rs 790 crore and is subject to closing price adjustments. 

India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, Tata Motors announced on Tuesday that it will increase the prices of its commercial vehicles in the range of two per cent from October 1, 2021. The hike in prices would be implemented based on the model and the variant of the vehicle. 

The stock of Zen Technologies is seeing frenzied buying activity this month, triggered by its first significant order in the anti-drone space from the Indian Air Force worth Rs 155 crore, won earlier this month. The stock has hit its upper circuit in nine consecutive trading sessions this month and is now trading at a lifetime high of Rs 237.35.
