Transformers and Rectifiers bag export order worth Rs 166 crore
On Tuesday, Transformers and Rectifiers (TRIL) announced that it had been awarded an order of transformers to the tune of US$23,586,713, equivalent to Rs 166 crore from Transmission Company of Nigeria Plc. The company stated that the said order falls under the normal course of business and does not fall within related party transactions. It went on to clarify that it does not have any interest in the entity that awarded the order. With this order, TRIL's order book stands around Rs 1,161 crore.
Transformers & Rectifiers Limited (TRIL) is a holding company engaged in the manufacturers a range of transformers. The company produces power transformers, which include generator transformers, unit auxiliary transformers, station auxiliary transformers, interconnecting transformers or auto-transformers, and trackside transformers for railways among others. Its plants are located at Moraiya, Changodar, and Odhav in Ahmedabad.
At 1 pm on Tuesday, the stock was trading at Rs 7.84, up by 19.88 per cent or Rs 1.30 per share. The 52-week high was recorded at Rs 16.50 and the 52-week low was recorded at Rs 6.16.
