Maruti Suzuki introduces S-CNG variant of its Mini-SUV
Maruti Suzuki India Limited on Monday evening launched its BS6 compliant S-CNG variant of its Mini-SUV, S-PRESSO. The introduction of CNG variant is in accordance with the company’s ‘mission green million’.
S-CNG variant offers enhanced safety and performance with unparalleled convenience. S-PRESSO B6 CNG has four variants, ranging from Rs 4.84 lakh to Rs 5.13 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki has the largest portfolio of green cars on the road with sales of 1,06,443 factory-fitted CNG vehicles across India. The company has witnessed 15.5 per cent CAGR in CNG sales over the past five years. It has already sold one million green vehicles and has a goal to sell the next one million in the upcoming years. Maruti Suzuki’s S-CNG technology is equipped with dual interdependent electronic control unit (ECU) with intelligent injection system that ensures better and consistent performance along with high fuel efficiency across all terrains.
Maruti Suzuki’s S-CNG vehicle range is aligned to and complements Government of India’s vision of reducing oil import and enhancing the share of natural gas in the energy basket of the country from 6.2 per cent now to 15 per cent by 2030.
The stock is trading at Rs 5,920.95 with a 52-week high of Rs 7,755 and a 52-week low of Rs 4,002 on BSE.
