Q1FY21 results: Reliance Industries net profit increases 30.64 per cent YoY
Reliance Industries Limited, Indian multinational conglomerate company, announced its quarterly results on July 30, 2020. The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 13,248 crore for Q1FY21, which 30.64 per cent, as compared to Q1FY20 when it reported Rs 10,141 crore.
The consolidated net sales reported in Q1FY21 came in at Rs 91,238 crore, which declined by 43.8 per cent YoY from Rs 1,62,353 crore in Q1FY20. At EBITDA level, the company stood at Rs 16,875 crore in Q1FY21 that decreased by 21.93 per cent YoY. For Q1FY20, it posted an EBITDA of Rs 21,615 crore.
EBITDA margin as of Q1FY21 was at 18.5 per cent that increased by 5.19 per cent YoY. The net profit margin in Q1FY21 came in at 14.52 per cent, which increased by 8.27 per cent YoY. The net profit margin in Q1FY20 was at 6.25 per cent.
On Friday, the stock opened at Rs 2,125 and is trading at Rs 2,070 with decline of 1.83 per cent at around 10:42 am on BSE. The stock has a 52 week high of Rs 2,198.7 and 52 week low of Rs 867.82.
