Q1FY21 results: Abbott India profit jumps by 54.22 per cent YoY to Rs 180.35 crore
Abbott India Limited, one of India's fastest growing pharmaceutical companies, announced its quarterly results on August 7, 2020. The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 180.35 crore for Q1FY21, which increased by 54.22 per cent, as compared to Q1FY20 when it reported Rs 116.94 crore.
The consolidated net sales reported in Q1FY21 came in at Rs 1,064.27 crore, which increased by 6.55 per cent YoY from Rs 998.89 crore in Q1FY20. At EBITDA level, the company stood at Rs 233.42 crore in Q1FY21 that increased by 34.01 per cent YoY. For Q1FY20, it posted an EBITDA of Rs 174.18 crore.
EBITDA margin as of Q1FY21 was at 21.93 per cent that increased by 4.49 per cent YoY. The net profit margin in Q1FY21 came in at 16.95 per cent, which increased by 5.24 per cent YoY. The net profit margin in Q1FY20 was at 11.71 per cent.
On Friday, the share of the company was up by 0.29 per cent or Rs 47.25 and closed at Rs 16,188.6. It has a 52 week high of Rs 18,569 and 52 week low of Rs 8,577 on BSE.
