Top-performing penny stocks in August 2020
Equity market performance in August has taken the market participants by surprise as BSE Small-cap index gained by 14 per cent in August itself.
What is more remarkable is the performance of penny stocks in this market rally. Penny stocks often are considered unhealthy stocks and are not preferred by the long-term investors as they are considered to be way too risky to include in one’s portfolio.
In August, as many as 176 penny stocks have gained more than 20 per cent with the best performing penny stock being Kaushalya Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited. The stock has almost doubled in just one month.
