Titan posts 15 per cent jewellery growth in festive season; stock up by 3 per cent
Shares of Titan Company were trading closer to its 52-week high on Thursday after the company announced that it saw good performances across all its businesses in the festive season.
The jewellery business witnessed a growth of around 15 per cent in the 30-day festive season starting from Dussehra to Diwali compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year, with studded jewellery seeing decent recovery.
In addition, the company’s watch and wearable business also performed well in the festive season with recovery nearing last year’s levels. The eyewear business also witnessed good traction, the company stated in its update to the BSE.

By market close, however, the gains of the stock tapered away and it closed at Rs 1,292.40 per share, up by 1 per cent or Rs 12.75 per share on BSE, against a 1.31 per cent decline in the benchmark index. The 52-week high is recorded at Rs 1,345 and the 52-week low is Rs 720 on the BSE.
