Buzzing stocks: Adani Green locks in at lower circuit; OnMobile Global jumps 10 per cent
On Wednesday, Sensex fell by 106.73 points or 0.24 per cent at 44,416.29 levels. In spite of that, some stocks are still shining in today’s session, which is highlighted below.
Outperforming the benchmark index, a number of stocks locked in at their respective upper circuits. The shares of Shiva Cement, which is a subsidiary of JSW Cement, gained by 5 per cent after it announced investing over Rs 1,500 crore in a 1.36 million tonnes clinker unit project to be established in Sundergarh district of Odisha.
The stocks of companies belonging to Future Group continued gaining momentum on Wednesday, as a result of the overall positive sentiments regarding the RIL-Future Group deal.
As per the data available on BSE, 217 stocks locked in at the upper circuit whereas, 165 stocks locked in at their lower circuit on Wednesday. Amongst Group A stocks, Adani Green Energy, GE Power, and Jammu and Kashmir Bank locked in at their respective lower circuits.
