BCPL Railway Infrastructure rises nearly 2 per cent on securing new orders
BCPL Railway Infrastructure Ltd (BCPL) informed on Friday that it has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL).
The LoA received is for the deployment of the 25KV OHE gang to complete the residual overhead (OHE) adjustment works and provision of bonding/earthing work. The work is to be carried out in section Sreerampur Assam-Fakiragram of NF Railway. The company also has to complete the safety-related work in this corridor. The order, which is expected to get executed over a period of 45 days, is likely to add Rs 165 crore to the company's revenue book.
BCPL Railway Infrastructure Ltd engages in the field of railway infrastructure development, which includes designing, drawing, supplying, erecting & commissioning of 25KV, 50 Hz single phase traction overhead equipment. The company is one of the niche players catering in the area of railway electrification with an established track record of about three decades.
At 11.15 am on Friday, the share price of the company was trading at Rs 81.25, up by 1.75 per cent or Rs 1.40 from its previous closing price of Rs 79.85 on BSE.
