Inox Leisure reports blockbuster Q4FY18 numbers
Inox Leisure reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 on Monday.
The company’s consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 323.61 crore, registering 12.2 per cent yoy increase.
EBITDA for the quarter rose by 76.7 per cent yoy to Rs. 42.07 crore with a corresponding margin expansion of 475 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 13 per cent.
The PAT for the quarter jumped at Rs. 57.69 crore vs net profit of Rs. 0.34 crore in Q4FY17. This includes an exceptional item of Rs. 8.54 crore comprising of provision towards claim for reimbursement of the cost of fit-outs incurred by the company at one of its proposed multiplex.
Looking at the full year numbers, we see that revenue jumped by 10 per cent to reach Rs. 1,348.12 crore while EBITDA rose by 41 per cent to Rs. 207.35 crore. The company reported net profit of Rs. 114.63 crore, up 274 per cent yoy.
On Monday, the stock opened at Rs. 271.40 and touched an intra-day high and low of Rs. 290 and Rs. 269, respectively, and finally closed at Rs. 282.70 on the BSE.
