BSE StAR MF records a new milestone; processes 1.14 crore transactions in May 2021
Surpasses its all-time highest monthly record of 1.11 crore transactions in April 2021
BSE StAR MF, India's largest and leading Mutual Funds Distributor platform, has set an all new record. In May 2021, BSE StAR MF processed 1.14 crore transactions worth Rs 30,938 crore, despite the devastating Covid-19 outbreak and distributors channelising their transactions through online platforms.
The former highest monthly transactions was 1.11 crore, achieved in April 2021.
The platform also achieved its highest ever SIPs of 6.88 lakh registered in a month in May 2021, as compared to previous highest of 5.45 lakh in March 2021.
Overall, the platform achieved 24 per cent of the transaction within 2 months which is 2.25 crore during FY22(Apr & May) as compared to 9.38 crore transactions during FY21.
The total turnover for May 2021, was Rs 30938 crore which is an increase by 21 per cent compared to Rs 25552 crore in May 2020.
Net equity inflow for May 2021, was Rs 5147 crore which is growth of 47 per cent compared to Rs 3493 crore for May 2020 ,but a decline by 6 per cent compared to Rs 5458 crore for April 2021.
Total StAR MF’s SIP book is 90.97 lakh as on May 2021.
Distributor count has also seen a multi-fold increase to 69,896.
