Suzlon Energy surges over 3 per cent on receiving new order
Suzlon Group today announced its new order win for the development of a 252 MW wind power project from CLP India. The company will install 120 units of S120-140m wind turbine generators with a hybrid lattice tubular tower, with a rated capacity of 2.1 MW each.
The project is located in Sidhpur (Gujarat) and is expected to be commissioned in 2022. The scope of the project includes supply, foundation, erection, and commissioning. The company will also provide comprehensive operation & maintenance services post-commissioning.
Reacting to this, the company’s stock today increased by 6.32 per cent and made an intraday high of Rs 6.02 per share.
The company reported an operating profit of Rs 135.67 crore in Q3FY21. In Q3FY20, it had reported an operating loss of Rs 168.63 crore. The company reported net sales of Rs 937.52 crore for Q3FY21, which is an increase of 43.45 per cent as against the net sales of Rs 653.57 crore for Q3FY20.
Suzlon Energy is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing of wind turbine generators (WTGs) and related components of various capacities.
The stock has a 52-week high and a 52-week low of Rs 8.68 and Rs 2.71, respectively.
At the time of market closing, the stock of the company was trading at Rs 5.92, up by 3.86 per cent on BSE.
