Marico at lifetime highs: What do options data say about the stock?
The stock of Marico has marked a fresh lifetime high of Rs 511.45 on NSE. It had opened at Rs 497.15 and made a low of Rs 496.60 while the stock is currently trading up by 2.86 per cent.
The stock is up by 6.85 per cent on an MTD basis and by 26.54 per cent on a YTD basis. It witnessed a long built-up as its open interest surged by nearly 15 per cent.
On the options front, the 510 call option has added 4.62 lakh shares in the open interest in today's session. With this, the total open interest in the 510 call option has reached 7.96 lakh, which is the highest on the call side. It was then followed by a 500 call option with a total open interest of 5.1 lakh. The 510 call option has seen a reduction in the open interest of 1.68 lakh shares. On the put option side, the 500 put option has added 3.44 lakh shares in the open interest and with this, the total open interest in 500 put option has reached 3.58 lakh shares, which is the highest on the put side.
