Quick Heal Technologies gained nearly 12 per cent on bourses outperforming the broader markets. The stock has been on dalal street’s radar for quite some time now, with analyst becoming bullish on the counter.

 Here are some of the recent triggers for the stocks:-

1. Increased expected demand for cyber security products:- The earnings visibility is expected to increase substantially for Quick Heal going ahead due to increased demand for its cyber security products and services. The increasing digital trend and usage has also lead to increased cyber-attacks. The pandemic led lockdown has made available a huge growth opportunity for Quick Heal with the demand increasing for cyber security products. According to some market estimates the demand for the cyber security products have increased by 20per cent in the first wave of the pandemic.

2. Strong market positioning and brand presence in growing market: - Quick Heal has a market share of ~ 30 per cent and is one of the leading providers of security software products and solutions in India.

3. Strong fundamentals and shareholder friendly management:- The future growth prospects for the industry and the company are above average. The debt-free balance sheet and abundant cash balance along with a healthy dividend pay-out of over 25 per cent are some of its positive attributes that can catch long term investors’ attention. The company has consistently made buy-back offers – thus rewarding shareholders. 

Quick Heal is up by 57.23 per cent on YTD basis while the stock is up by 148.35 per cent in one year.

Quick Heal Technologies Ltd. is an Indian cyber security software company headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The company was formerly known as CAT Computer Services Ltd and was started as a computer service centre in 1995. The company was renamed as Quick Heal Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in 2007.
