Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Monday

On Thurday, after a volatile session markets have ended in green. Sensex and Nifty both have gained approximately 0.09 per cent each. The BSE Mid cap and Small cap indices have gained 0.56 per cent and 0.52 per cent respectively, outperforming broader markets. In the small cap index Dish TV, KPR Mill, Apcotex Industies and Future Consumer are top gainers, while Arman Financial Services, Walchandnagar and KEI Industries are top losers.

Following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday:  

 Zensar Technologies – The company has announced a strategic partnership with FRISS, the most widely adopted provider of AI-powered end-to-end fraud prevention and detection solutions for property and casualty insurers worldwide. This global, strategic partnership will enable Zensar’s clients to access the latest market-ready artificial intelligence, a multitude of data sources and unparalleled customer service directly through FRISS. 

Snowman Logistics - International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Snowman Logistics have launched a global open call for innovators to bring sustainable temperature-controlled logistics (TCL) solutions to the growing Indian market, as part of IFC's award-winning TechEmerge Program. 

Subex – The company has announced the completion of the rebranding exercise of its Internet of Things (IoT) and Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity product Subex Secure. Subex Secure will henceforth be called Sectrio. The move comes in the wake of Sectrio gaining significant market traction powered by an exponential increase in the capabilities of its award-winning product portfolio. 

Thomas Cook India -The company has inaugurated a new Gold Circle Partner franchise outlet in Bengaluru. This expansion augments Thomas Cook India’s distribution and reach in Karnataka to 17 consumer access centres. Seven owned branches and 10 Gold Circle Partner (franchise) outlets across Bengaluru, Hubli, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Udupi, Shimoga & Gulbarga. 

Indo Count Industries - CARE has revised the company’s rating for short term bank facilities of the company to “CARE A1+" from "CARE A1".  

Rain Industries – The company’s arm "Rain Carbon Inc." has resumed calcined petroleum coke production at three of its U.S. facilities and that the restart process has begun at a fourth plant that was impacted by Hurricane Ida, which hit the Gulf Coast on August 29, 2021. 

Avantel - The company has incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary company under the name & style of "Imeds Global Pvt Ltd". The business of this company is to manufacture various medical and healthcare equipment.  

52-week High Stocks – Dynamatic technologies, Apcotex industries, Brooks Laboratories, Carborundum Universal, Specialty Restaurants, Gayatri Projects, Globus Spirits, Zen technologies and Goldiam International have made a fresh 52-week high today. These stocks will likely be in focus Monday, September 13, 2021.
