Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Friday

On Thursday, frontline indices Nifty and Sensex recorded fresh highs of 17,843.90 and 59,957.25 respectively. Both indices ended the session with gains of more than 1.50 per cent each. BSE Smallcap index climbed by 0.91 per cent i.e. 252.82 points to end at 28,108.92. Cantabil Retail India, Welspun India, JBM Auto and Acrysil were top gainers. Whereas BLS International, Easy Trip Planners and Kanoria Chemicals were top losers of BSE Smallcap index.  

The following small-cap and mid-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday:   

Affle India – The company has been granted a patent from US Patent & Trademark Office (US PTO). This patent is related to the technology of driving app installations and user interactions during podcasts. This is the 4th US patent granted to Affle, along with multiple other patents filed and pending across US, India and Singapore. This patented technology powers a futuristic use case where the app installations and conversions are not limited to on-screen physical user interactions with advertisements, but rather goes deep towards gesture-based, voice-intelligence driven interactions within the live streams such as podcasts.  

Kings Infra Ventures – The company has said in a recent announcement that it will bring 5,000 farmers under ecologically sustainable aquaculture. The project will help to double farmer’s income. The project promoted by the company along with Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU) aims to integrate seaweed culture, oyster farming, and various fish varieties facilitating consumption of the leftover feeds and biological waste of the shrimp farms to create additional resources and eliminate wastes completely in shrimp farms.

Suumaya Corporation (formerly known as Rangoli Tradecomm) – The company today recommended bonus issue of equity shares in the ratio of 2:1 (two equity shares of bonus against one equity share held by the shareholders as on the record date (subject to approval of shareholders and other regulatory authorities). It has further recommended increase in its authorized capital from Rs 12 crores to Rs 25 crores.

52-week High Stocks – Cantabil Retail India, Welspun India, Oberoi Realty, JBM Auto, Pioneer Distilleries, Acrysil , GNA Axles and Royal Orchid Hotels have made fresh 52-week high today. These stocks will likely be in focus on Friday, September 24 2021.
