Overnight Digest: Stocks to watch out for on September 24

Sensex & Nifty ended the day making fresh record closing high levels amid positive global cues. At close, the Sensex jumped 958.03 points or 1.63 per cent to 59,885.36 level, and the Nifty zoomed 276.30 points or 1.57 per cent to reach 17,823 level. The broader market outperformed the benchmark indices, as BSE midcap and smallcap indices rose 1 per cent each. On the sectoral front, the realty index shined gaining 9 per cent, while IT, metal, bank, capital goods, oil & gas indices rose 1 per cent each.

Following stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday:

IIFL Finance - The company announced that it will open a public issue of secured bonds on September 27, 2021, to raise Rs 1000 crore, for business growth and capital augmentation. The bonds offer up to 8.75 per cent yield and a high degree of safety. The stock is likely to be in focus on Friday.

Realty stocks - On Thursday, the BSE Realty index outperformed benchmark indices on an intraday basis. Oberoi Realty, Godrej Properties, DLF, Sobha, Indiabulls Real Estate were the top gaining stocks within the index. Keep a watch on real estate stocks on Friday.

U GRO Capital - The company which is a small business lending fintech platform, announced that Acuite Ratings and Research has upgraded its rating outlook from ‘Stable’ to ‘Positive’. The company’s Rs 1100 crore bank loan and Rs 450 crore non-convertible debentures (NCD) have been rated A/Positive. The commercial paper programme amounting to Rs 100 crore are also reaffirmed Acuite A1 rating by Acuite Ratings and Research. The stock is likely to be in focus on Friday.

HCL Technologies - The company has selected RISE with SAP offering to additionally modernize its enterprise digital landscape. As an SAP strategic partner, HCL will be using this experience to help its clients leverage their combined experience in the industry cloud transformation space. The company has hit its 52-week high price in Thursday's trading session and is likely to be in focus on Friday.

52-week high stocks - The stocks of Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Larsen & Toubro, NTPC, ONGC, Reliance Industries, and Tech Mahindra have made fresh 52-week high prices on Thursday. Keep a watch on these stocks on Friday.
