Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Tuesday

GOCL Corporation, Aban Offshore, Kirloskar Electric, Kamat Hotels, PG Electroplast, Surana Solar, Shivam Autotech, Genus Power Infrastructures and PTC India made fresh 52-week high today.

On Monday, frontline index Nifty ended at fresh record closing highs of 17,945.9, up by 50.75 points i.e. 0.28 per cent. Auto and power stocks were buzzing throughout the trading session and outperformed broader markets. BSE Small-cap index closed in the green territory, gaining 0.60 per cent.    

The following small-cap and mid-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday:  

Affle India – The company has announced that it has received an issue notification for the grant of 2 patents from US Patent and Trademark Office (US PTO). The patents are related to the technology of ‘Creating decentralized repository of fraud IPs and publishers using Blockchain’ and ‘Click to install behaviour based detection of fraud’. 

Affle has built a robust patent portfolio with 20 patents across India, US and Singapore. The pending patents include innovative use cases of driving vernacular & voice-based intelligence, conversational marketing, app recommendations timeline and ad fraud prevention. 

Ramkrishna Forgings – The company has reported a strong set of Q2FY22 results. Revenue for the quarter stood at of Rs 57,893.59 lakhs, up by 129.31 per cent on a year on year (YoY) basis.  EBITDA was Rs 13,917.94 lakhs and with a YoY growth of 205.36 per cent.  Profit After Tax (PAT) came in at Rs. 5,011.20 lakhs, YoY growth of 2317.37 per cent. Quarterly EPS for Q2FY22 was Rs 15.68 per share. The company has declared a second interim dividend of Rs. 0.50 per share. The company has received contracts worth approximately Rs 62,000 lakhs from 8 contracts during the quarter from various geographies and business verticals.  

Vedavaag Systems – The company has signed and executed the corporate business correspondent agreement with Punjab National Bank for implementation of financial inclusion for Punjab National Bank. The company is targeting to roll out about 400 to 500 CSPs for PNB in the next two quarters. The company is already associated as a business correspondent with prominent PSU Banks - State Bank of India and Bank of Baroda, which have vast banking network across the country.
