Onward Technologies sets up engineering design centre in Pune
Onward Technologies Limited has set up another dedicated engineering design centre in Pune. The centre caters to the services across product and manufacturing engineering domains for a global manufacturing player in North America. It will be a world-class facility equipped with state of the art infrastructure.
Significant investments in technology are done in the centre functions including security measures to ensure data confidentiality and protection of the customers.
The North American client company is a Fortune 500 company. This contract will enable the Onward Tech to be a strong player in the design and manufacturing engineering services and establish itself as a trusted partner.
Earlier in June 2018, the company had entered into partnership with Quark Software Inc. to offer end-to-end content automation platform in the Asia Pacific market.
Onward Technologies Limited is a global player in Mechanical Engineering Design Services and Software & IT Solution services having a market capitalisation of Rs. 113.16 crores. It offers a range of engineering design services including product design, engineering analysis, engineering documentation and maintenance, and manufacturing solutions for automotive, off-highway, aerospace, industrial equipment and consumer goods sectors.
On Monday, in the morning trading session, the stock opened positively by 2.5 percent at Rs. 74.90 per share as against previous close of Rs. 73.05. However, it got corrected and made an intra-day low of Rs. 70.20.
