Asahi India Glass launches decorative architectural glass range

Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) announced the launch of a new decorative range of high-performance architectural glass - AIS SunShield Trendz.

The product is said to possess advanced solar control technology with benefits such as glare reduction, protection from UV radiation, and cooling comfort thus improving the energy efficiency of homes and commercial spaces along with being pleasing aesthetically.

AIS is a leading integrated glass solutions company. The company is a dominant player in both the car and building glass segment. The company commands over 70 per cent share in the Indian passenger car glass market.

At 11:54 hours on Wednesday, the scrip was trading at Rs. 334 per share, up Rs. 1.50 or 0.45 per cent on NSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 330.35 and touched an intra-day high of Rs. 338 per share on NSE. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs. 438 and a 52-week low of Rs. 252.10 per share on NSE. The stock attracted a traded volume of 6,316 shares on NSE.
