Tata Elxsi posts moderate performance for Q3FY19
Tata Elxsi reported its results for the quarter ended December 30, 2018 during market hours on Tuesday.
The company's standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 407.01 crore as against Rs. 345.53 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering 17.8 per cent YoY increase. Other income reported was negative due to exchange loss of Rs 11.75 crore as against loss of Rs 3.24 crore in Q3FY18.
Its revenue from software development & services segment grew marginally by 1.5 per cent YoY and revenue from system integration & support services segment rose by 47.1 per cent YoY.
The EBITDA for the quarter rose by 10.5 per cent YoY to Rs. 103.32 crore as against Rs. 93.48 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, with a corresponding margin contraction of 167 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 25.4 per cent.
The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 65.99 crore as against Rs. 62.76 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, YoY increase of 5.1 per cent.
On Tuesday, the stock opened at Rs. 974 per share and made an intra-day high and low of Rs. 990.50 and Rs. 960.10, respectively, and finally closed at Rs. 973.35 on the BSE.
