Emami partners with Brillare Science to foray into salon segment
Skin care and healthcare FMCG company Emami Limited announces a strategic investment in Brillare Science Private Limited on Monday. The investment is through CCPS route.
The investment in Brillare Science marks Emami's foray into the professional salon segment. Emami has entered into an agreement with Brillare Science through compulsory convertible preference shares (CCPS) which on basis of Brillare's future performance may be converted into 26 per cent equity stake in the company.
Established in 2009, Brillare Science is engaged in professional beauty care products. The company's product portfolio consists of a range of innovative cleansers, moisturisers, protectors, active boosters for hair and skin care. The company's products are sold to professional salons and are available on premier online beauty and wellness portal Nykaa.
Meanwhile, the stock of Emami Limited closed at Rs. 1,095.00 per share, down 0.78 per cent on Monday.
