Siemens posts 19 per cent growth in bottom-line

Siemens reported consolidated revenue for the quarter at Rs. 2429.5 crore, registering 1.4 per cent yoy increase.

EBITDA for the quarter rose by 45.4 per cent yoy to Rs. 272.4 crore with a corresponding margin expansion of 340 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 11.2 per cent. The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 190.5 crore, yoy increase of 18.5 per cent.

New Orders for the period stood at Rs. 3,257 crore, up by 2.1 per cent. Order Backlog as on September 30, 2017 stood at an all-time high of Rs. 12,263 crore. The company’s surge in order book is from continue traction in infrastructure sector and digitalization projects.
