Indigo cancels flights again
IndiGo cancelled 49 flights on Wednesday for the seventh day in a row. The company has also announced a curtailed schedule until the end of March.
Going forward, IndiGo has decided to curtail its schedule for the remaining period of February by approximately 30 flights a day. The operations will be back to normal only when the summer schedule begins from March 31, 2019.
The airline has been forced to cancel flights since February 7. According to news reports, this was on account of shortage of pilots. However, the company has attributed the cancellations to weather-related disruptions and runway repair work at Bengaluru and Mumbai airports.

It also pointed out that at the moment there were 47 flights between India and China of which 42 flights are operated by Chinese airlines, while Indian carriers operate 5 weekly flight.
