PVR partners with VouchaGram

Leading multiplex operator PVR Cinemas ties up with GyFTR (Vouchagram), an online gift voucher service provider. Movie-goers can now book tickets using these vouchers.   

GyFTR (Vouchagram) is a peer-to-peer online-to-offline (O2O) gifting platform. GyFTR services more than 5 million customers and has a clientele of 135+ active brands. PVR will now feature movie e-gift vouchers on the GyFTR's platform for Rs. 100, Rs. 250, Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000. Through this platform, PVR can expand its user base.

Speaking on the occasion, PVR's CEO Gautam Dutta said: “In this day and age, a combined online/offline marketing strategy is crucial to enhance brand recall and revenue generation. We are thrilled to join hands with GyFTR, a platform that will give PVR Cinemas seamless access to the diverse e-gifting ecosystem, thereby allowing us to accelerate customer acquisition and business growth.”

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the stock of PVR Limited closed at Rs. 1,721.40 per share, up by Rs. 21.60 or 1.27 per cent on BSE, when the benchmark index BSE Sensex closed at 39,275.64, up by 369.80 points or 0.95 per cent.
