SP Apparels reports muted numbers in Q3FY18

SP Apparels reported third quarter numbers of FY18 on Wednesday. 

SP Apparels' consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 162.9 crore, registering an increase of 9.7 per cent YoY. 

The company's EBITDA for the quarter rose by 5.2 per cent YoY to Rs 30.1 crore, with a corresponding margin contraction of 78 bps. The EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 18.5 per cent. 

The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs 13.7 crore, a decline of 12.7 per cent YoY. This was due to absence of other income in the quarter as against Rs 7.6 crore in corresponding quarter of last year. 

S.P. Apparels Ltd is an India-based company engaged in the business of manufacturing and exporting of knitted garments for infants and children. The company operates in two segments: garment and retail. The company manufactures and retails menswear garments in India under the brand Crocodile.
