Sagar Cements: June production up by 11 per cent YoY
The Hyderabad-based cement company, Sagar Cements published its June months production figures, on Friday. The standalone cement production grew by 11 per cent YoY.
The company reported the cement production figures for June 2019 which saw production for June 2019 at 1,99,490 million tonnes (MT), higher by 11.11 per cent as compared to 1,79,543 MT produced in June 2018. While on a consolidated basis, the cement production for June 2019, stood at 2,74,276 MT as compared to 2,42,963 MT produced in June 2019 registering growth of 12.89 per cent YoY.
Further, the company’s standalone cement sales for June 2019 stood at 2,01,910 million tonnes (MT) up by 12.15 per cent compared to 1,80, 041 MT sold in June 2018. The company’s consolidated cement sales for June 2019 stood at 2,75,562 MT, up by 12.04 per cent compared to 2,45,959 MT sold in June 2019.

On Friday, the stock closed at Rs. 676.05, higher by 2 per cent on BSE. The benchmark index BSE Sensex closed down by 388 points at 39,520.
