Overnight Digest: Stocks to watch out on July 17
The stocks that are likely to witness significant movement on the bourses on July 17 are PVR, HDFC, NTPC, KNR Constructions and Network18.
PVR: The company is expanding the distribution business of Indian films and expects a substantial jump in the operations of its arm PVR Pictures. PVR Pictures, which was earlier focusing on the distribution of foreign films only, is now also working with regional producers.
HDFC Asset Management Company:The AMC has reported 42.16 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 291.79 crore for Q1FY20 as compared to Rs 205.26 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10.29 per cent at Rs. 552.75 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 501.19 crore for Q1FY19.
Network18 Media & Investments Limited: Network18 Group sees a 11 per cent growth in operating revenue at Rs. 1,245 crore as against Rs. 1,124 crore YoY.
NTPC: Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Nabinagar Power Generating Company has increased the total installed capacity of the 1st unit of 660 MW of Nabinagar Super Thermal Power Project (3x660 MW).
KNR Constructions Limited: The company receives an order worth Rs. 847.34 crores from Navayuga Engineering Company Limited.
