Jump Networks signs agreement to provide VoIP services
Jump Networks Limited has signed an annual digital services agreement of minimum guaranteed revenues of Rs. 100 crore to provide wholesale Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services.
The agreement is signed with Amtelfone Incorporated (Amtelfone), a fast-growing telecommunication service provider, offering wholesale VolP minutes and prepaid calling services to different markets.
According to the said agreement, JUMPNET will provide Amteltfone its proprietary VolP application called "JumpTalk" on a wholesale Software-As-A-service (SaaS) basis which will in turn be marketed and resold at a fixed monthly rate in the respective local markets by Amtelfone.
Earlier this week, Jump Networks entered into a share price agreement with OnMobile Systems Inc. It will purchase 19,000,000 equity shares of ONMOBILE at a price ranging between Rs. 75.50-78 per equity share. ONMOBILE's strong portfolio of products and long-standing operator relationships together with the technology thrust provided by Jump Networks will further strengthen the organizations’ offering in the market.
On Wednesday, stock of Jump Networks opened at Rs. 57.40. In the early trading session, it was up by 5.5 per cent to Rs. 59 from its previous close of Rs. 55.95.
