When we see a top athlete bring home a gold medal or a team securing the numero uno position in any of the leagues, we see them in all their grandeur. Assignments done and they are on the top of the world.

At that particular point in time, all we see is the fame & glory they receive and wish secretly that we could also do the same. However, we must remember that success does not happen overnight. It takes time, commitment, and focus to get to the top. It is a process that comprises overcoming challenges and obstacles. The recent listing of Freshworks on Nasdaq is one such story, which reminds us that if we follow the process in a disciplinary manner, success should be at your doorstep!

The stock of Freshworks has seen a significant increase in interest in the last few days. Interestingly, domestic investors also want to have a pie of it. Viram Shah, Co-Founder & CEO, Vested Finance says, “Enquiries for investing in Freshworks were seen even before the listing by Indian investors but unfortunately, they are not allowed to directly investing in IPOs of US markets. Since it got listed, over the last 3 days, it has been the no. 1 stock on Vested Finance’s platform and 0.4 per cent of Vested Finance users today hold FRSH. In comparison, 1.2 per cent has invested in Coinbase and 6.5 per cent invested in Microsoft. More than Rs 2 crore has been invested in Freshworks since it got listed on our platform. We witnessed a 50 per cent spike in daily new account opening on our platform over the last few days due to Freshworks excitement.”

Viram Shah has also shared some interesting insights when we asked him that investors from which regions are showing interest in investing in this stock? To which, he responded, "while interest has been witnessed from all over India and even from NRIs, the majority of the interest has naturally come from people in the technology industry because they are either customers of Freshworks or know them well because of being in the same industry. Furthermore, he highlighted that 25-34 is the largest age demographic that has expressed interest in the stock."

Certainly, with growing maturity among the investors' community, international investing has a long way to go as till a couple of years back, there was no convenient and easily accessible channel to invest in global financial products.
