Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Friday

On Thursday, headline index Sensex closed the session at 60,923.50 down by 0.55 per cent. Telecom, energy and realty stocks saw corrections and ended in the red territory. BSE Midcap index relatively outperformed broader markets by losing only 0.38 per cent and the BSE Smallcap index went down by 0.69 per cent.

Gateway Distriparks – The company has reported that their Q2FY22 consolidated profit after tax (PAT) jumped 1255.5 per cent on an annual basis to Rs 46.90 crore. Their net debt as of September 30, 2021, stands at Rs 440.91 crore against Rs 470.23 crore as of June 30, 2021.
The company expects business to further pick up pace in the coming quarters. The gradual commissioning of more DFC corridors, growth in EXIM business and government support to trade is likely to continue helping them.
