Caplin Point posts stellar results

Caplin Point Laboratories consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 141.6 crore, registering 37.9 per cent yoy increase and 8 per cent qoq increase.

EBITDA for the quarter rose by 63.7 per cent yoy to Rs. 50.9 crore with a corresponding margin expansion of 566 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 35.9 per cent. This margin expansion was aided by lower other expenses to Rs. 15.5 crore in Q3FY18 compared to Rs. 20.78 crore in previous year corresponding quarter.

 The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 37.48 crore, yoy increase of 57.5 per cent and qoq increase of 5.6 per cent.

 On Wednesday, the stock opened for trading at Rs. 558 per share and touched high of Rs. 609 before closing at Rs. 590, up by 5.6 per cent
