HFCL bags order worth Rs 174.43 crore
HFCL Limited has bagged an order worth Rs 174.43 crore from a private leading integrator of data networks for the supply of optical fibre cables (OFC) for the construction of Telangana Fibre Grid (T-Fibre) under Bharat Net Phase-II Programme of Government of India (GOI). The order is expected to be executed by May 2021.
Besides, in the month of March, the company had also won an order worth Rs 196 crore from L&T Limited for the construction of Telangana Fiber Grid (T-Fiber) under Bharat Net Phase-II Programme of GOI. This order is supposed to be executed within 12 months.
BharatNet Programme forms one of the key pillars of Digital India Program. This project aims to connect and provide broadband connectivity at around 2,50,500 Gram Panchayats in the country.
HFCL’s order book by the end of December 2019 stood at Rs 8,621 crore, translating book to bill ratio of 1.8x of its FY19 revenue.
HFCL Limited, formerly known as Himachal Futuristic Communications Ltd, is an India-based company that operates as designer, manufacturer, assembler and the seller of telecommunication equipment.
On Friday, the stock of HFCL had closed down by 2.6 per cent to Rs 8.78. It has recorded 52-week high of Rs 22.40 and 52-week low of Rs 8.15.
