Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Friday

MBL Infrastructures, Gujarat Fluorochemicals, HBL Power Systems, Texmo Pipes and Products and PG Electroplast made a fresh 52-week high today.

On Thursday, at 2:35 pm equity benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex are trading in the green territory at 17,334 and 58,224.3, up by 0.98 per cent each. Nifty Bank is trading flat, with marginal gains of 0.08 per cent. BSE Smallcap index is trading at par with broader markets, with gains of 0.85 per cent.  

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday:  

BCPL Railway Infrastructure – The company has announced that it has bagged an order from the East Coast Railway, Electrical, Construction, Bhubaneswar, Head Quarters. This order has been received for the work of, 'Electrification of 25 KV OHE for new line between Nuagaon to Daspalla in Khurda Division and Bichhupalli to Sonepur in Sambalpur Division of East Coast Railway including Sub-sectioning post, Traction substation and PSI work in connection with the new line.' The total project cost comprises Rs 19 crore and is expected to be completed within 24 months. 

To quote Aparesh Nandi, Chairman of BCPL Railway Infrastructure from a filing with the exchange, “We have already started seeing an inflow of orders and we are quite optimistic about the pipeline of orders in the coming months and in near future also. We expect to end the year on the robust order book.” 

Dynacons Systems and Solutions – The company has recently announced that it won a contract from the largest Public Sector Bank, State Bank of India, to provide IT infrastructure to enable the new age architecture for their NBC project. In this New Branch Channel (NBC) project, SBI is shifting to the new age three-tier architecture: 'Web - Application - Database'. The total cost of the project is Rs 27.25 crore. 

The company would enable this new architecture by providing necessary IT Infrastructure which includes - Blade Servers (Web Servers & APP Servers), Rack Servers (DB Servers), Rack Servers (Backup), Backup Appliance with Software, Storage, SAN Switches, Load Balancer and Racks (42U) to be supplied and installed at their Data Centre at Navi Mumbai and Disaster Recovery site at Hyderabad.
