The recent re-emergence of the corona virus in many parts of the country is now sending a chill down investors’ backs, reminding them of the dreaded March 24, 2020 onslaught. This is being reflected in the current market movement with the Sensex slipping below the 50,000 level.
However, this correction is warranted and will provide many an investor, hitherto sitting on the sidelines, an opportunity to deploy his or her cash. While we do not see a crisis looming up of the same intensity as the March 2020 one, we believe the fear associated with the second wave will provide opportunities to deploy new funds into the market.
