FEEDBACK

After reading your cover story on large-caps I am convinced that they are an essential element of any portfolio. I now want to understand as to how much, in terms of percentage, of my portfolio should be parked in largecaps?

Editor Responds: We are glad to know that you liked our cover story on large-cap stocks. We recommend that an aggressive investor should have 50 per cent exposure to large-cap stocks and the remaining 50 per cent should be divided among mid-cap and small-cap stocks. A moderate risk-taker should invest 70 per cent in large-cap stocks and the remaining 30 per cent in mid-cap and small-cap stocks whereas a conservative investor such as you should opt to invest 90 per cent of the total corpus in large-cap stocks and the remaining 10 per cent in mid-cap and small-cap stocks. Hope this helps. Keep writing to us with your feedback and queries.
