Small Caps Vs Large Caps

Firstly, I appreciate your inputs given in special story ‘Fear of Loss Can Lead to Portfolio Underperformance’. It was really useful. Now I want to ask if it is the right time to buy small-caps or large-caps? -Ajay Kute

Editor Responds: Thank you for your appreciation. Our inputs are always aimed at aiding investors improve their performance. As far as your query goes, chances are bright that over a period of three to five years, we will see small-caps and mid-caps outperforming Sensex. In the context of portfolio, some exposure to small-caps and mid-caps is advisable. However, large-caps should continue to dominate the portfolio allocation. Hope this helps.
