Q4FY17 result : Kitex Garment

Kitex Garment Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 today. 

The company's total sales for Q3FY17 came in at Rs 177.2 crore., which represents a 24.5 per cent sequential increase and 3.86 per cent YoY decline.

Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter amounted to Rs. 42.9 crore and its EBIT margin stood at 24.18 per cent.

The company reported a PAT figure of Rs 27 crore, which represents a sequential QoQ decline of 15 per cent and a YoY decline of 40 per cent.

The company's stock tumbled 2.7% to close at Rs 500 level, ahead of the results. The stock opened at Rs 520.55 and hit an intra-day high and low of Rs 534.8 and Rs 484.85, respectively.
 
Kitex Garments is engaged in the manufacture and exports of garments. The company manufactures different type of garments like jacket, shirt, pants, inner wear and etc. The company operates in two business segments, viz. garment and fabrics.
